As I start my busy season, I am honoring my pledge with my company, Nomad Consulting, Training, and Safety Services LLC., to set aside 5% of every contract to establish a non-profit fund to support diversity and equity in Aquatics. I aim to have $10,000 to establish a non-profit scholarship fund to provide swim lessons, and aquatics training, support any organization that promotes diversity and equity in aquatics, and provide leadership and management training to traditionally marginalized communities and those suffering economic hardship. I will add a page to my website to track our progress toward our goal and be transparent in our efforts. It starts with one simple act.
